Butterfly Knife Legality in Louisiana?

My friend is on vacation in Alabama right now and today he went somewhere that sold butterfly knives and bought one and then asked if i wanted one too and of course i said yes but that was before i thought about if they were legal or not. All i have found so far is that switchblades are illegal in Louisiana but im not sure if a butterfly knife is ever mentioned. Does anyone know cause i would rather not get in trouble for having it on me if it is illegal here
