Should i send my ps3 slim to sony to get it repair?

my ps3 froze 50 time in 7 month.when i start a ps3 game a white flash appears for a second people say the white flash appear just to change resolution with the hdmi but i don't use i a hdmi it happen when the screen goes black it happen too went i go to PlayStation home or when i click on remote play on the ps3 screen.and my ps3 slim froze on online allot of times and if i send my ps3 to sony will they give me a brand new ps3 not a use one or they will give me my old ps3
