Craftsman garage door opener problem?

door opens ok but closing will go down for a few seconds then stops. I press wall remote it continues for a second. I repeat this till door is closed. After checking sensors and the balance of the door we open the back of the unit and found the vibration of the door opening is causing the receiver logic board assembly to short off and on. When we hold on the connector it's fine, we jiggle the wires and it cuts out. We left the unit open in hopes the vibration would not affect it. It seemed to work but then it stalled again. I really don't know what else to check for or how to correct it. Please help
