Joy, or career possibilities?

So I have a choice to make. I'm 13, and have found two recent joys. One of Wich is minecraft.the problem with playing it, is that on my home pc, there is a lack of data to store saves. So I need a cheap laptop to run that. My friend found one that will run It fine, for $500. I still have allot of saving to do to buy that, but I might. The other joy, I discovered at a summer camp. Robotics. There is a high quality robotics kit for $300. I have that money saved right now, and really want to get it, because that might be a likely career for me. I can buy one of the two, but don't k.ow Wich one. Please give me your personal opinion on this decision. Thanks, and best answer gets 10 pts.
