My boyfriend is ignoring me on my birthday?

ok so today is my birthday im in my 30's & dating a younger guy. he was mad @ me last night for drinking 2 celebrate he did call me today but he was in a part of town working & the call kept dropping he already feels bad cuz he doesn't make allot of money to take me anywhere nice but that's not what i want im a simple gal So now im txtin him & he doesn't reply its not right i was with him all day & made em a nice dinner for his bday i will never forgive him for this what should i do?
